Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how LiftyJeans (operated by KOVAS LLC) processes and ships orders. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Where We Ship

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, and Canada. We do not ship to PO Boxes for international orders or to APO/FPO addresses at this time.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day. Processing may be longer during high-volume periods (sales, product launches, holiday season).

3. Estimated Delivery Times

Once processed and shipped, estimated delivery times are:

  • United States: 7–15 business days from shipment
  • Canada: 7–15 business days from shipment (excluding customs clearance time)

Total estimated time from order to delivery: 8–18 business days.

These are estimates only, not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, customs, weather, holidays, address issues, or other factors beyond our control.

4. FTC 30-Day Rule Compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, if we are unable to ship your order within the timeframes stated above, we will notify you and offer you the option to (a) consent to a delay or (b) cancel your order for a prompt and full refund. If we cannot provide a revised shipping date, we will automatically cancel your order and issue a refund.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and the shipping method selected. Free shipping promotions, when offered, apply only to standard shipping within the United States and require a minimum order value as displayed at checkout.

6. Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 72 hours for tracking information to populate after the email is sent. If your tracking has not updated after 7 business days, contact us at liftyjeans@proton.me.

7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes (Canada and other international orders)

Canadian customers and any future international customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, GST/HST/PST, and brokerage fees imposed by their country. These are not included in our prices or shipping fees. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amounts. Refusing a package due to customs charges does not entitle you to a refund of shipping costs.

8. Address Accuracy

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to addresses entered incorrectly. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you will be charged for re-shipping. Refunds for failed deliveries due to address errors will be issued as merchandise value only, minus original shipping costs.

9. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

(a) Damaged in transit: Contact us at liftyjeans@proton.me within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

(b) Marked delivered but not received: First check with neighbors, household members, and your local post office. Most "missing" packages are found within 3–5 days. If after 5 days the package is still missing, contact us within 14 days of the carrier's "delivered" status so we can open a carrier investigation.

(c) Lost in transit: If tracking shows no movement for 14 consecutive days, contact us. We will work with the carrier to locate it. If confirmed lost, we will ship a replacement or issue a refund at our discretion.

Once a package is marked "delivered" by the carrier, risk of loss has transferred to you. We are not responsible for theft after delivery.

10. Refused Packages

If you refuse delivery without authorization from us, the package will be returned to us at your expense. We will refund the merchandise value only, minus original shipping costs and return shipping fees.

11. Multiple Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may be shipped in separate packages from different fulfillment centers and may arrive on different dates. You will not be charged extra for split shipments.

12. Holidays & Peak Periods

Delivery times may be extended during major sales (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, holiday season) and around U.S. and Canadian public holidays. We recommend ordering early during these periods.
